The student union of Häme University of Applied Sciences is pleased to announce that we have started co-operation with the new membership card service provider, Slice.fi. Slice.fi is a Finnish service that was established in cooperation with student organizations and educational institutions.
Co-operation enables an even better member experience and offers many advantages. The selection emphasized on Slice’s strong expertise in acquiring student benefits and its extensive network.
Slice has received the Key Flag Symbol (Avainlippu), which can be awarded to a product manufactured or a service produced in Finland. This tells about Slice’s commitment to work and the economy. HAMKO also values that Slice has earned The Finnish Social Enterprise Mark. This has been awarded as a demonstration of successful integration of business and social objectives.
The new membership card is now available and includes the following features:
- Quick and easy implementation: The new mobile card is easy to activate and use. The card is designed to be as effortless as possible for our members.
- Wider benefit network: The new card opens the doors to a wider benefit network for all our members. You can take advantage of discounts and benefits in many different places.
- Digital option: In addition to the physical AMK student card, we offer a digital studentcard that is conveniently available in the Slice mobile application. You can easily use it on your smartphone.
How do I enable Slice?
I am a new member
- Become a member of HAMKO.
- You will receive the activation codes in your HAMK student email within 1-2 business days.
- Download the Slice.fi application from your own application store.
- Log in to the application with your credentials and give the application all the permissions it requests.
I already have a memberhip
- Update your membership information and give permission for data transfer to Slice using HAMKO’s service form.
- You will receive the activation codes in your HAMK student email within 1-2 business days.
- Download the Slice.fi application from your own application store.
- Log in to the application with your codes and give the application all the permissions it asks for.
NOTE! The e-mail address must be given in the same format as it is in our member register – so if necessary, test both formats firstname.lastname@student.hamk.fi or firstname1234@student.hamk.fi / amk12345@student.hamk.fi.
