The Student Union of Häme University of Applied Sciences was founded on December 10, 1996. That means today is HAMKO’s 25th birthday! HAMKO has done significant work to promote the interests of students for 25 years.

Thanks to our members, HAMKO has worked steadily over the years. Today, HAMKO is bigger than ever, with more than 4,000 members this fall for the first time in student unions history! We work for our students and members, and we are grateful to all of you.
Due to the uncertain pandemic situation, no separate celebrations were held this year.
