The start of the Academic Year is celebrated in Alkupamaus

Welcome to HAMKOs Alkupamaus event on September 14, 2023, to celebrate the start of the academic year! The event promises fun activities, an event square at Hämeenlinna Market Square, and after-party options at Night Club Hohto or Bar Skogster. At the event square, you’ll find several stands and can purchase some sweet treats. The theme is children’s TV shows, so you can relive childhood memories in your party outfits.

Ryöminki Task Track Tour

Before the evening’s party, there will be the Ryöminki task track tour starting from Hämeenlinna Market Square. The event square is open from 4.00 PM to 8.00 PM, and you can begin the task track from 4.30 PM onwards.

  • You can get the check point map at the HAMKOs tent on the square.
  • You can start the task track between 4.30 PM to 8.00 pm
  • The check points close at 9.30 PM, and you must return your passes to the square by 10.00 PM.
  • Tasks will be scored, and the best team will be rewarded! 🏆
  • Team size: 2–10 people

After-Party Venues and Performers

The party continues from 10.00 PM until the restaurant closes at 4 AM.

Tickets and Prices

The ticket price for HAMKO members is €14 (includes: event ticket €11 + cloakroom €3).
Non-members: €18 (includes: event ticket €15 + cloakroom €3).

The event ticket includes an overall badge and a wristband, which grant you access to the after-party. Membership will be verified when purchasing and redeeming tickets at the member price!

You can purchase tickets from Kide.app or at the HAMKO office at Hämeenlinna University Centre.

Tickets can be redeemes in advance at the HAMKOs office until 2.00 PM on the event day. After that, you can get your tickets from the HAMKOs tent at the square between 4.00 PM and 9.45 PM.

Please note that purchased tickets are non-refundable.

Safety

  • It might be chilly outside, so dress appropriately for the weather.
  • Make sure to eat during the evening and consider hydrating with non-alcoholic beverages as well.
  • While the evening is fun, remember that consuming your own drinks in restaurants or cafes and their vicinity is not allowed!
  • Take care of your team and friends; don’t leave anyone alone.
  • Be considerate of others and avoid blocking common pathways.
  • Let’s have fun in good spirits, without disturbing, discriminating against, or bullying others.
  • The decision to drink or not is part of personal autonomy – don’t pressure anyone to drink.
  • In emergencies (requiring police, ambulance, or fire department), contact the emergency number 112.
