HAMKO employs four permanent staff members: an Executive Director and three Specialists.
HAMKO is developing its operations and temporarily adjusting the division of responsibilities among the staff. Staff resources are being reallocated to meet changing needs as one adviser goes on statutory leave. The aim of these changes is to support a clear division of labor, ensure high-quality service for students, and guarantee the most effective use of resources.
The changes take effect on December 1, 2026. From that date, the staff members’ roles and areas of responsibility will be as follows:
- Aleksi Kurvi, Executive Director, Student Well-being
- Jenna Mäkelä, Specialist, Community, Tutoring, and International Affairs
- Liisa Hyytiäinen, Specialis, Communications and Events
As part of these staffing adjustments, HAMKO is recruiting a fixed-term Specialist for Member Services and Communications for the period of December 1, 2026 – November 30, 2027.
