Welcome to a sugary adventure at HAMKO’s Café Appro, taking place from Wednesday to Saturday, November 19-22, 2025!
Café Appro is a relaxed event where you can visit various cafés over the course of four days. The goal is to collect stamps in your Café Appro pass. You can visit the cafés whenever it suits you best and enjoy your choice of treats (coffee, tea, small sweet or savory snacks). For each treat you buy at a new café, you’ll receive a stamp in your Café Appro pass – it’s fun and easy!
There are participating cafés from all HAMK campus locations. Please note that the cafés will be open according to their regular opening hours, so be sure to check the hours in advance when planning your café tour.
The theme of the Café Appro is autumn and its colours. Dress warmly and for fall colours. Come and taste sweet pastries and enjoy delicious warm drinks!

HAMKO member ticket is ONLY intended for members of Häme University of Applied Sciences Student Union.
Redeeming the Café Appro pass
Pick up your Café Appro pass in exchange for the ticket purchased through Kide.app. You can collect your pass from Nov 10, 2025. When you have collected five stamps to from cafeterias, you can redeem a sweet overall patch.
Passes can be picked up at the following campuses according to the opening hours of HAMKO office and local student organizations:

Returning the pass and collecting the overall patch
Return your full Café Appro pass to the HAMKO office or to the local student organization on the following campuses, and grab a super sweet overall patch as a reward!
The deadline for returning passes is Friday 12.12.2025.
Passes can be returned to the following campuses: Evo – Evon Metsäpojat, Forssa – FAMKO, Hämeenlinna – HAMKO, Lepaa – LOK, Mustiala – Toveriliitto, Riihimäki – RINO, Valkeakoski – VARO.
Rules
- Event Time: Wed–Sat, November 19–22, 2025, according to each café’s own opening hours.
- Participants buy the product of their choice from the café. During the event, each café will offer a special deal of their choosing, but you can get a stamp on your Café Appro pass from any product purchased at a participating café.
- You need five (5) stamps on your pass to receive the Café Appro overall patch.
- Forssa, Hämeenlinna, and Riihimäki: You can collect one (1) stamp per participating café. Evo, Lepaa, Mustiala, and Valkeakoski: You can collect a maximum of two (2) stamps per participating café.
- Cafés are open according to their own opening hours, so please check the opening times in advance when planning your café tour. Some cafés may not be open on all event days.
- Return your pass by Friday, December 12, 2025, to receive your overall patch!

Please note, however, that not all campus locations have enough cafés to fill the entire Café Appro pass. To complete your pass, it’s a good idea to visit cafés in nearby areas as well.
