HAMKO’s traditional spring finale event, Loppurysäys, will be celebrated in Hämeenlinna on April 16, 2026. This year’s theme is 🎮 RETRO GAMES 🎮 – dress up in your best gaming-inspired outfit and embark on an adventure through the world of classic games! 🕹️👾
The event includes a checkpoint tour called Ryöminki, where you’ll complete game-themed challenges at different checkpoints. After the tour, the afterparty will take place at Las Palmas.
Checkpoint tour
The Ryöminki checkpoint tour will guide you through the world of 90s games, where you can compete in a variety of themed challenges.
Gather a team of 2–8 people, pick up a checkpoint passport at Hämeenlinna Market Square, and set off on your adventure. The best team will be rewarded!
- Checkpoints are open from h 16:30 to 21:30.
- You can start the tour between h 16:30 and 18:30.
If you want to participate in the competition, remember to return your team’s passport to the HAMKO tent at Hämeenlinna Market Square no later than 22:30.
Both the starting point and the finish line are located at Hämeenlinna Market Square, where the HAMKO tent will be.

Afterparty
When the game is over and the screen goes dark, the party continues at Las Palmas. You can also unleash your inner singer at karaoke! 🎤
The afterparty starts at 22:00 at Las Palmas,

Participants who purchased an afterparty ticket will receive a wristband when redeeming their ticket, which acts as their entry pass to the afterparty.
Tickets
Everyone is welcome to the event – students as well as anyone with a student spirit. As a HAMKO member, you can get your ticket at a lower price.
Both tickets with afterparty access and without afterparty access are available. Tickets that include the afterparty cover the checkpoint tour, entry to Las Palmas, and the cloakroom fee.
Purchased tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Ticket Redemption
Tickets purchased from Kide.app must be redeemed for an event entry ticket.
You can redeem your Kide.app ticket for an event wristband either in advance or on the event day:
- In advance: At the HAMKO office starting Monday, 13 April 2026. The office is located at Hämeenlinna University Centre in room C-138 and is open Mon–Fri from 10:00 to 14:00. Advance ticket redemption at the office closes on the event day, Thursday 16 April, at 13:00.
- On the event day: Wristband exchange on the event day begins at Hämeenlinna Market Square at 16:00. Wristbands are exchanged until 18:30.
You will receive your team’s taskpoint pass on the event day, 16 April, at HAMKO’s tent at Hämeenlinna Market Square.
Please have your Kide.app ticket open and ready to speed up the queue.
If you have a ticket eligible for the HAMKO member discount, please also show your university student card or Slice card.
HAMKO membership is verified with a valid university student card obtained through HAMKO or the Slice mobile card (both display the HAMKO logo).
Safety
Even though spring is already well underway, please be prepared for changing weather conditions by dressing warmly. Also remember to eat properly, as wandering around while hungry can become tiring.
Please note that consuming your own drinks in or in front of restaurants and cafés is not allowed. By following these rules together, we can continue organizing events in these venues in the future.
We want everyone to feel safe in this gaming world. This is a harassment-free event. If you experience any harassment or inappropriate behavior during the event, please contact the event harassment contact persons. Their contact details can be found in the checkpoint pass.
