The HAMKO Event Eeam is the group that is at HAMKO to make nice events possible for students together with the project managers of HAMKO events.
The board members Nea, Nelli and Vera are responsible for HAMKO’s events this year. Behind the scenes, the magic is created that makes the events unforgettable and we are looking for more people to help create it!
The events team works together with the event managers, for example, during the spring semester at HPK Appro and Loppurysäys. The team ensures that the event day runs smoothly in every respect.

In the team, you get to come up with ideas, plan and implement events. You can choose tasks according to your own interests and come to one or more events. No previous experience is required.
What kind of tasks are there in the event team?
The event team plans and organizes the entire event, such as schedules, helps with space arrangements and contacts with partners.
On the day of the event, the team takes care of the practical implementation, a smooth experience for the participants and follow-up activities, such as dismantling the event.
In the team, you get to do different types of things according to your interests. Most often, event team members plan marketing, make checkpoint passes, are at the venue on the day of the event, exchanging tickets, or guiding visitors around the tent.
Applying to join the team
We need different types of people for the events team. Whether you are interested in taking social media photos, making schedules or transporting goods, there is sure to be a meaningful task for you on the team.
You can join us for just one event, for a semester or, if you are enthusiastic, for the whole year!
