In May, our office will be open until Friday 9 May 2025, Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10 am to 4 pm. After this, we will be open by appointment, so please contact us in advance if you need service on site at the Hämeenlinna University Centre.

Summer break
HAMKO’s office will be closed for the summer break before Midsummer (on the week number 25). If you need service at the office, e.g. regarding a sports pass or overalls, please come and visit us as soon as possible before then.
During the summer break, the entire staff is on holiday and the Chair of the Board will be responsible for any contacts. You can therefore contact us by email at hamko@hamko.fi if necessary. We kindly ask you to note that there may be a slight delay in responding to messages until the staff returns from their holidays. The Chair of the Board will respond to messages in addition to his summer work.
Our office located in the Hämeenlinna Higher Education Centre will open in August after the summer break. We will provide more information about the opening of the office during August.
Student cards
For new members: Joining the student union is done electronically, so it can also be done during the summer. If you start your studies in the autumn of 2025, please note that you will receive your student card at the beginning of August. This means that you can use Slice’s digital student card in August.
The first plastic UAS student cards will be ordered during August and you will receive a notification in your student mail when the card has arrived from the printer.
