Welcome to a sugary adventure at HAMKO’s Café Appro, taking place from Wednesday to Saturday, November 20-23, 2024!
Café Appro is an easy-going event where you can visit various cafés over the course of four days. The goal is to collect stamps in Café Appro pass. You can visit the cafés whenever it suits you best and enjoy your choice of treats (coffee, tea, small sweet or savory snacks). For each treat you enjoy at a new café, you’ll receive a stamp in your Café Appro pass – it’s fun and easy!
The event is open to everyone. You can participate even if you study at another educational institution or even if you are not a student at all.
There are cafés from all HAMK campus locations or nearby. Please note that the cafés will be open according to their regular opening hours, so be sure to check the hours in advance when planning your café hopping.

Café Appro pass, for HAMKO members: €5
Café Appro pass, for non-members: €9
HAMKO member ticket is ONLY intended for members of Häme University of Applied Sciences Student Union. Membership will be verified when redeeming the ticket by presenting a student ID card or Slice mobile card displaying HAMKO’s logo.
Special offer! Everyone who bought a ticket can get a HAMKO permanent cup for the affordable price of 5 euros. Normally, a cup costs €7/10.
Redeem your ticket purchased from Kide.app before the cafe tour
Pick up your Café Appro pass in exchange for the ticket purchased through Kide.app. With a completed pass, you can redeem a sweet overall patch.
Passes can be picked up at the following campuses according to the opening hours of HAMKO office and local student organizations:

Return your pass and claim a special overall badge
Return your completed Café Appro pass to the HAMKO office or to your local student organization on the following campuses, and grab a super sweet overall patch as a reward!
The deadline for returning passes is 13.12.2024.

Rules for the Café Appro 2024
- Duration: Wednesday to Saturday, November 20-23, 2024, according to the cafés’ own opening hours.
- Participants purchase their chosen product from the café. During the event, cafés will offer special deal of their own choosing, but you will receive a stamp in your Café Appro pass for any product purchased at a participating café.
- You need to collect six (6) stamps in your pass to earn the Café Appro overall patch.
- Hämeenlinna: You can collect one (1) stamp per participating café.
- Evo, Forssa, Lepaa, Mustiala, Riihimäki, and Valkeakoski: You can collect a maximum of two (2) stamps per participating café.
- The cafés are open according to their regular opening hours, so please check the opening hours in advance when planning your café tour. Some cafés are not open on all event days.
- Make sure to return your pass by 13.12.2024 to receive your overall patch!
