Craving something sweet? In HAMKO’s Alkupamaus HAMK students will celebrate the start of the academic year, and theme of the party is Candyland! The party takes place on September 18, 2025. Mouth watering already? Grab your sweetest friends and join us in the event!
The event includes the traditional task point tour called Ryöminki, filled with theme-based challenges. The afterparty will take place at Bar Skogster or Las Palmas.
Task Point Tour
The Ryöminki tour guides you through the delicious Candyland with challenges that test your skills, cleverness, and speed.
- Form a team of 2–8 people and grab your task pass from Hämeenlinna Market Square.
- Task passes can be collected from HAMKO’s tent at the Market Square between 15:30 – 18:30.
- Task points are open from 16:00 – 21:30.
If you want to compete, remember to return your team’s task pass to HAMKO’s tent by 22:00 at the latest. The best team will be rewarded! The start and finish point is HAMKO’s green tent at Hämeenlinna Market Square.
⚠️ Note! Some task points are located in restaurants/bars, so please remember to bring your ID.
After-party
After tasks, party people with an afterparty ticket head to the nightclub. This year, there are two venues: Bar Skogster and Las Palmas, where the party band Krebatorio will entertain. At other times, the DJ will keep the vibe going.
Afterparty venues and Krebatorio show times:
Bar Skogster: Showtime 10.30 PM (Raatihuoneenkatu 8, Hämeenlinna)
Las Palmas: Showtime 00.45 AM (Raatihuoneenkatu 10, Hämeenlinna)
Afterparty ticket holders will receive an after-party wristband, which serves as entry to the selected venue. The nightclubs open at 10 PM – see you there!
Tickets
Alkupamaus welcomes everyone – both students and those with a student spirit. As a HAMKO member, you’ll get your ticket at a discounted price!
Tickets are available with or without afterparty access. Afterparty tickets include both the task point tour and entrance to the afterparty, as well as the cloakroom fee.

Purchased tickets are non-exchangeable and non-refundable.
Ticket Redemption
Tickets purchased via Kide.app must be exchanged for event wristbands, which serve as entry tickets. The color of the wristband depends on the ticket type.
Redemption is possible either:
- In advance: Starting Monday, September 15, during HAMKO office hours at HAMK Hämeenlinna (Building C, room C-138). Tickets can be redeemed until Thursday, September 18, at 12:30.
- On event day, September 18: At HAMKO’s tent on Hämeenlinna Market Square, starting at 15:30.
There will be separate queues at the tent for those redeeming in advance and those redeeming on the day.
Event Market
At Hämeenlinna Market Square, you’ll also get to explore stands from local organizations at the event square.
The stands and booths are open from 15:30 – 18:30.
Meeting Point
Would you like to participate in the Alkupamaus task point tour on September 18th, but don’t have a team yet? Or would you like to go around the task points with new acquaintances? This is your chance! 🤩 We are organizing a group start at 6:00 PM from the green HAMKO tent, where a team will be formed from those who arrive to tour the task points together!

Safety
Safety is a top priority, and we want everyone to have a smooth experience. A few reminders:
We want the event to be harassment-free – if you experience any kind of harassment or inappropriate behavior, please contact the event’s anti-harassment contact persons. Their contact details can be found in the task pass.
Make sure you dress according to the weather. Remember to eat well and drink water.
Consuming your own drinks inside or in front of restaurants is prohibited. Let’s respect this so future events can also take place in these venues.
Also remember:
- Take care of your team and friends – don’t leave anyone alone.
- Be mindful of others and don’t block passageways.
- Let’s have fun in a good spirit – no harassment, discrimination, or bullying.
- Choosing to drink or not to drink is everyone’s right – don’t pressure anyone.
- In case of emergency (police, ambulance, fire department needed), call 112.
- There will be many people at the event, so expect some queues during the evening.
The task pass includes the phone numbers of Alkupamaus anti-harassment contact persons and events safety coordinator – don’t hesitate to reach out.
