We’re looking for active and enthusiastic students who want to share their ideas, represent their campus, and help improve student life at HAMK. No experience needed, just your voice and perspective.
What is the International Team?
HAMKO International Team brings together Finnish and international students from different campuses and degree programmes to develop an inclusive student community. The team acts as a bridge between students, HAMKO, and HAMK staff, making sure that students’ experiences, ideas, and concerns reach the people who can create change.
HAMKO launched its first International Team in autumn 2025. During its first year, team members shared feedback on topics such as student services, career support, Finnish language learning, and campus life, and talked with HAMK staff and shared their student experience.

We are now recruiting members for the second team in our history.
The team operates for one calendar year. Members will meet face-to-face approximately twice during the year, while most collaboration and communication takes place online. The team’s working language is English.
Who can apply?
- All HAMK students are welcome, both Finnish-speaking and non-Finnish-speaking.
- We especially hope to have students from every HAMK campus.
What does the team do?
- Share ideas, experiences, and feedback on student life
- Help improve services and opportunities for international students
- Discuss current challenges and development ideas with HAMKO and HAMK staff
- Create initiatives that strengthen interaction between Finnish and international students
- Connect students from different campuses and degree programmes
- Act as a voice for students in discussions that shape the student experience

We will invite selected applicants to online group interviews during the week 48. The aim is to finalize the selections by the end of November.
