The nomination period for the Representative Council of the Student Union of Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMKO) was open from 14 September to 14 October 2026. All HAMKO members were eligible to stand as candidates.
Results of the nomination process
By the deadline, 21 eligible candidates had submitted their nominations. There are 21 seats on the Representative Council—exactly the same number as the candidates who stood for election.
According to the Student Union’s statutes, in such a situation, all eligible members who submitted their nominations are appointed directly to the Representative Council without a formal election. If necessary, the Representative Council may be supplemented through by-elections.

At the organizational meeting, the composition of the Representative Council is confirmed and the Board is elected
The organization meeting of the council will be held on Monday, November 16, 2026 at Hämeenlinna University Centre. The organizational meeting is open to all HAMKO members, all members are welcome to follow the meeting.
