Welcome to a sugary adventure at HAMKO’s Café Appro, taking place from Tuesday to Saturday, November 3-7, 2026!
Café Appro is a relaxed event that invites you to explore various cafés. The goal is to collect stamps in your digital Café Appro passport. You can visit the cafés whenever it suits you best and enjoy the treats of your choice—whether that’s coffee, tea, or small sweet or savory snacks.
You have up to five days to collect stamps, so you can either complete an intensive café tour in a shorter time or take your time and enjoy the experience over several days. You receive a stamp in your Café Appro passport for every treat you enjoy at a new café—it’s fun and easy!
There are participating cafés from different HAMK campus locations. Please note that the cafés will be open according to their regular opening hours, so be sure to check the hours in advance when planning your café tour.
The theme of the Café Appro is Halloween. You can dress to match the theme and wear your student overalls if you have them. Come and taste sweet pastries and enjoy delicious warm drinks!

Getting started with the Café Appro pass
Before you can start collecting stamps on the Café Appro tour, you must activate your digital passport (the Appro App) at your own HAMK campus. The passport is activated when you redeem the ticket you purchased via Kide.app. Ticket redemption begins on October 26, 2026.
💡 Tip! Download the Appro App and create your user account in advance of redeeming your ticket. This way, you can get started on your café tour even faster!
The Café Appro pass can be activated on campus according to the opening hours of HAMKO and the local student organizations, starting from October 26, 2026:

- Forssa: FAMKO
- Hämeenlinna: HAMKO
- Lepaa: LOK
- Mustiala: Toveriliitto
- Riihimäki: RINO
- Valkeakoski: VARO ry
You will receive an overall patch when you visit the office with a completed appropass
Once you have collected the required stamps in your Café Appro pass, you can redeem the event overall patch. Bring your completed Appro pass to the HAMKO office or to your local student association’s service point on your campus and claim your awesome overall patch as a reward!
You have until 7 December 2026 to return your pass and redeem your patch.
Passes can be returned to the following campuses: Evo – Evon Metsäpojat, Forssa – FAMKO, Hämeenlinna – HAMKO, Lepaa – LOK, Mustiala – Toveriliitto, Riihimäki – RINO, Valkeakoski – VARO.
Rules
- Event Time: Tue–Sat, November 3–7, 2026, according to each café’s own opening hours.
- Participants buy the product of their choice from the café. During the event, each café will offer a special deal of their choosing, but you can get a digital stamp on your Café Appro pass from any product purchased at a participating café.
- You need five (5) stamps on your pass to receive the Café Appro overall patch.
- Hämeenlinna and Riihimäki: You can collect one (1) stamp per participating café.
- Forssa, Evo, Lepaa, Mustiala, and Valkeakoski: You can collect a maximum of two (2) stamps per participating café.
- Cafés are open according to their own opening hours, so please check the opening times in advance when planning your café tour. Some cafés may not be open on all event days.
- Return your pass by Monday, December 7, 2026, to receive your overall patch!

Café Appro includes cafés from following HAMK campus locations: Forssa, Hämeenlinna, Lepaa/Hattula, Mustiala/Tammela, Riihimäki ja Valkeakoski.
Please note, however, that not all campus locations have enough cafés to fill the entire Café Appro pass. To complete your pass, it’s a good idea to visit cafés in nearby areas as well.
